Gripping
In applications that use gripper technology, certain properties on the material side are extremely important. The holding forces must be considered according to the dynamics of the application. This means that a defined surface must be created.
Many properties, such as strength, surface roughness and precision, can frequently be adhered to but then make the gripper too heavy, causing the dynamics of the application to suffer.
In this scenario, it makes sense to use a gripper with a comparatively low specific weight of just 3.2g/cm³.

Sample Solutions
Gripper fingers
Gripper fingers have component-specific contours at their ends that enable them to pick up, grip, transport or guide components. They are used primarily in electronics manufacturing.
Goods carriers
Goods carriers are used to hold other products, such as circuit boards. In many cases, they must be electrically insulating, wear-resistant and designed to cope with thermal shock to enable smooth handling.
Workpiece holder/carrier
The exact positioning of components is particularly important for series production. Here, multiple components are frequently welded, bonded, riveted, soldered, etc. at high cycle rates to form assemblies.
