Your challenges
Electrical insulation in combination with mechanical requirements
When thermally and electrically insulating parts are used in the different procedures, choosing the right high-temperature material is key. Whether you use a resin and binder system or a filling material and laminate structure - only the right combination of individual parameters will ensure that a finished component works as intended.
We manufacture machine elements, electrical insulation, sliding and guide elements as well as high-temperature components for mechanical and plant engineering. The machine elements include guides, wipers, levers and sealing elements. The electrical insulation is used for welding tongs, transformer construction and standard part programmes; sliding and guide elements include slide rails, chain guides and pump vanes; high-temperature components range from industrial furnace components through to press insulation all the way to turbine parts.
All components must fulfil certain basic requirements: they must withstand multi-axis loads, extreme surface pressures and temperatures of up to 1,100 °C.
Sample Solutions
EuroGrippers
The term “EuroGripper” refers, for example, to a mounting for welding tongs for spot welding, which is frequently used for car body construction. A comprehensive standard was developed for this type of machine.
Slide rails
If metallic materials are used for guides or rails, wear due to friction is unavoidable. Slide rails made of DOTHERM materials offer the benefits of excellent friction and sliding properties, high wear resistance and thermal stability.
High-voltage insulation
What sets these types of insulators apart is the combination of different requirements that simultaneously apply to their implementation.
Non-material-specific insulation solutions
In many industrial applications, it makes sense to use multi-layered materials or material combinations.
Screw head insulation
During the process of pinning and screwing components, electrical insulation must frequently be guaranteed. Ceramic cylindrical pins ensure a positive connection while a steel screw provides for the positional connection - the interlocking connection…
