Cutting disks

All-ceramic cutting disks have carved out a well-earned reputation in series production facilities over many years. One market in this context is for battery construction in the electric mobility sector. In order to cut aluminium oxide films without causing steel contamination, these cutters are manufactured from zirconium oxide. The cutting ability and longevity is indispensable and is realised by a prescribed manufacturing process. If used correctly, the cutters can be used for several weeks and can then be re-sharpened as part of a specially developed production step. This means that the product can be reused multiple times.
